In pursuit of solitary blues
hunting the elusive art dog over 9 years
in 2003 while my wife and I were attending a "First Friday's" art event in the Cross-Roads area of downtown Kansas City I spotted a young pup in a window.....sadly looking over the edge of a window of a gallery currently NOT open.  And....as fate would have for ONCE i did NOT have a camera with me. So for 3-4 months when were were going to be in the same area we'd drive past the gallery hoping to spot this pup again. Finally one day he was there....and I got the shot.

It proved to be a popular image titled "Solitary".......

A few years later (2007).......under similar circumstances (but THIS time I HAD a camera)....we spotted the same puppy....now a tad larger....a tad wiser...and bigger...in the SAME window...but...the gallery was renamed....and a bit different. So...I captured him again and promptly forgot I had.

Fast forward to 2009....and Another art event......same gallery......same dog....BUT...if I recall correctly we got to visit and meet him. on leaving he resumed his spot...at the window...to once again be captured.
THIS time...I remembered and dug up the missing image of 2007. It wasn't until an upcoming art show jogged my memory to work on the images. Separately and as a collection.

Once again proving:    The More things (time) change...the more they stay the same!
